ALL ABOUT NICK CALDERONE
Nick Calderone is the co-host of the nationally syndicated TV show RightThisMinute. From its inception in 2011, Nick has been instrumental in the continued development and success of RTM. The popular viral video show currently reaches a national broadcast audience of approximately two million daily viewers in 210 markets.
The hustle and excitement of TV news is where Nick's career began. He spent 13 years perfecting his shooting, editing and storytelling skills in some of the country's leading newsrooms. A strong work ethic and desire to always learn, improve and garner more responsibility helped propel Nick through his career in news, beginning as a studio assistant and culminating as a reporter in Phoenix, Arizona. During that time, he was trusted to cover a number of the biggest news stories, including the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy and Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida, as well as special reports from the U.S.-Mexico border and wildfire coverage in Colorado and California. Nick also produced a weekly political talk show called Sunday Square Off, which earned him a regional Emmy award.
In 2008, Nick started the Phoenix-based video production company Reel Stories. His business boasts an impressive clientele, which includes Discovery, National Geographic, Bravo, Harpo Productions and all major broadcast networks. Drawing on his knowledge from both sides of the camera, Nick began to teach others by adding media consulting and training to Reel Stories. Clients who have trusted his insight include executives from Korean Air, TASER International, Arizona State University and the International Parking Institute.
Nick is an avid motorcyclist and off-road travel enthusiast. His days off are spent with his wife, Rosalie, exploring his home state of Arizona and beyond. A few of the most memorable trips include riding the California coast from San Francisco to Cambria and a week exploring and camping on the beaches of Baja, Mexico.
